Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Program Manager for a 12 month contract position in their Sunnyvale, CA location. This is a hybrid remote position.

Summary:


  • As a PLM Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the Engineering and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp.
  • Manage Material readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, transition plans).
  • Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
  • Proactively identify stakeholders and work with them to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives and success criteria, estimate task durations, and ensure schedules and dependencies are aligned and support those objectives within an organization.



Responsibilities:

  • Define, organize, and manage the activities that lead to the outcomes of a project, what, who, when, and how.
  • Effectively monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations.
  • Align stakeholders on decisions and changing circumstances.
  • Measure and publish program and process metrics to drive consensus in teams understanding of issues, and to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage continuous improvement approach including ability to identify and implement process improvements for the larger group or organization.
  • Seek out and apply relevant best practices from other Google processes and technologies.
  • Challenge

    • Given a set of problem spaces, proactively identify and implement technical and business programs and processes in medium to large work groups and drive ideas and solutions to address.
    • Organize ambiguous projects into clear longer-term (6+ months) objectives.


  • Influence

    • Forge and maintain effective program teams within and across an organization, understanding and addressing their needs and health, and supporting them throughout their lifecycles.
    • Guide team alignment on the integration of the timelines, goals, and deliverables of related projects and teams.
    • Manage escalations and unblock constraints and dependencies.Expertise
    • Have advanced planning and project management skills, break down programs and processes into components that could be executed by less senior PgMs.
    • Leverage best methodology for each team (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to make teams most effective.
    • Have advanced communication management skills, including writing and presentations, and ability to represent programs from business, product, and technical perspectives.
    • Have advanced relevant domain knowledge required to perform the job (e.g., OEM Networking , Supply Chain process ( PLM, Supply Planning, Supply Operations)
    • Demonstrate technical understanding to the degree required and comfortability working with engineers and with technology






Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in materials build readiness in NPI and supply chain readiness for Production.
  • Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply/Demand Planning.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.



The hourly pay rate range for this position is $57.73 - $69.11 depending on experience
