Genesis10 is seeking a Lead .Net C# Developer for our client in the Financial Services Industry. This is a Contract opportunity which can be worked mostly Remotely.

Rate $65.00 - 90.00ph

Description:

Senior Developer with minimum of 5+ years' experience in .net and C#, that Have worked extensively with RESTful services and/or Micro-service environments. SQL Server experience is a plus. HUGE plus is already having financial background especially as it relates to Mortgage Systems or consumer banking.

  • Have financial services experience (fintech and/or lending would be a big plus)
  • Experience with consumer apps a plus
  • Great at working with small teams and contributing quickly
  • Able to work with BA's but also 'own' modules to get them across the finish line (ie high sense of responsibility)


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to the organization's technology stack (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Angular).
  • Experience with application architecture and design patterns.
  • Understanding of database management systems and SQL.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment.


  • Core .NET Development (Full Stack or backend)
  • .NET Micro-services and API Development
  • Proven experience in integrating with Identity Providers using OAuth and SAML
  • Azure DevOps Experience

  • Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Experience in team management, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and mentoring.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance, resolve conflicts, and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Understanding of the organization's industry, business processes, and objectives.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Analytical mindset to analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies to drive innovation.

  • Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Ryder
  • Version Control Systems (VCS): Git
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Systems: CI/CD systems automate the build, testing, and deployment of software, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Examples include Azure DevOps
  • Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) Tools: These tools assist in automated testing, performance testing, and code quality analysis. Examples include Selenium, JUnit, SonarQube, and LoadRunner.
  • Containerization and Orchestration Tools: These tools enable the deployment and management of containerized applications and microservices. Examples include Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Cloud Platforms and Services: Cloud platforms provide scalable infrastructure and services for software development and deployment. Examples include Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Frameworks: SDKs and frameworks provide pre-built components, libraries, and tools for developing applications efficiently. Examples include .NET framework, and AngularJS.
