Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a 9 month contract position in their Sunnyvale, CA location. This position requires being onsite 5 days per week.

Project Overview:

This role supports two key projects which focus on streamlining data analysis and reporting for crucial business operations. By leveraging data from various sources, we aim to provide comprehensive insights that improve operational efficiency and facilitate informed decision-making. Ultimately, these projects will contribute to a more data-driven culture across multiple teams.

Overall Responsibilities:

This TPgM will act as a key liaison between engineering teams, product stakeholders, and data scientists, ensuring timely data delivery, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving the implementation of new features and bug fixes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex technical discussions, possess strong communication skills, and excel at problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:


  • Triage and Prioritization: Analyze incoming data requests, triage bugs and feature requests, assign them to the appropriate teams, and prioritize them based on business needs and impact.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate communication between stakeholders (PA, Engineering, Data Scientists), ensuring everyone understands project requirements and progress. This includes leading meetings, documenting decisions, and resolving conflicting priorities.
  • Data Validation & Analysis: Collaborate with data scientists on data validation, identify discrepancies between data sources, and develop solutions to improve data quality and accuracy.




Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:

    • 4+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, especially in data-driven projects.
    • 2+ years experience working with engineering teams and familiarity with Agile or other development methodologies.


  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize key issues.
    • Experience with stakeholder management, including building strong relationships with internal and external teams.
    • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools.




  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.




Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:


  • 3+ years experience with data analysis and validation, including identifying discrepancies between data sources, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines.




The hourly pay rate range for this position is $98.57 112.91 depending on experience
