Minimum to Midpoint Pay Range:$50.50 - $68.19 / hour

Summary

The System Director is responsible for supporting the Lee Health mission, vision and values by directing system-wide interactions with local, state and federal leaders, businesses, community organizations and other agencies. Manages day to day operations of the department. Develops strategy and programs designed to represent Lee Health favorably, while making positive contributions to the community. Creates and plans programs in collaboration with others both inside and outside the healthcare system that support Lee Healths mission. Develops and expands relationship with community leaders. Supports marketing initiatives and represents the organization at events. Directs and administers charitable contribution initiatives (e.g. United Way).

Serves as a resource to internal and external leadership to ensure proper representation and strategic involvement with community organizations at meetings, events, and activities. Manages communications and problem-solving and collaborates on project teams to meet deadlines to meet established goals.

Manages the annual community benefit planning and reporting process for the organization. Collaborates with others to ensure compliance with federal requirements and regulations related to Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), implementation planning and evaluation. Manages, guides and supports community initiatives related to CHNA findings to improve local health status and the health care delivery system. Serves as Lee County Trauma Services District Administrator and prepares the Regional Advisory Committee on Trauma for strategic community advocacy and support functions.

Oversees special projects as assigned, frequently involving other organizations, developing scope, objectives, research, inputs, outcomes, and other aspects as necessary. Ability to complete projects within established timeframe and budget.

Responsibilities include evaluating data to develop recommendations for implementation and community advocacy strategies. Requires collaboration with departments across the organization. Represents the organization in local, state and national leadership positions on boards, committees, and task forces as needed or requested.

This position requires demonstrated skills in: 1) community relations including design and implementation of professional relationship management programs to create trust and value for the organization; 2) coalition-building and project implementation for community engagement; 3) health care public policy advocacy including funding, access, quality and community health; 4) collaborate with marketing and media relations in developing communications related to community health efforts; 5) collaborative leadership to engage others and 6) strong communication and public speaking skills.
