Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an RN to join their Adult Endocrinology team in Cape Coral. The ideal RN will have outpatient experience preferably in endocrinology. The main duties of this RN will be:

  • Collaborates with operational leaders to manage clinical patient complaints/safety concerns
  • Clinical supply oversight and ordering (including oxygen and medications)
  • Clinical workflow oversight: auditing patient encounters (managed appropriately)
  • Provides clinical patient care, transitional care management, care gaps etc.
  • Collaborates with operational leaders to provide performance feedback for clinical staff

Responsible for providing, overseeing, and coordinating nursing care for patients within a complex department or highly procedural area; based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care, through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving while serving as clinician, teacher, researcher, team leader and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and lean performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
