Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced clinical leader to join their outpatient Allergy group in the role of Ambulatory RN Supervisor. This RN will mainly operate out of the Page Field location, but the expectation is that this RN will also float to Bonita Springs, Naples, Port Charlotte and Cape Coral. The Supervisor will work with the Practice Director, Ambulatory Nurse Manager and Physician Site lead.

The Supervisor manages one or more defined areas of organized patient care services. Supervisors provide direction to patient care staff to promote safe quality patient care and nursing services in a professionally supportive environment on a continuous basis by ensuring consistent nursing standards guide the provision of nursing care. Responsible for directing and coordinating patient care// within their defined area of responsibility// through established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice: clinician// teacher// researcher// leadership and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
