Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.04 - $25.05 / hour

Trauma Registrars primary responsibility is to assure that complete and accurate data is collected and maintained for all trauma patients diagnosed and/or treated at Lee Health Trauma Center. The Trauma Registrar must work with all trauma-related departments within the system to ensure complete inclusion of all appropriate patients.

Education: High School Diploma required. One year of formal training beyond high school, completion of HIM program preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years of HIM and/or CPC/RHIT experience required.

Certification: Trauma Registrar Certification within two years from date of employment.

License: N/A

Other: Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy. Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of EPIC and Trauma One preferred.
