Lee Health is seeking an Associate Medical Director/Physician Site Lead for our Hospitalist Program! Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 15,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 950 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds. Position Information: LPG Hospitalist Medicine is seeking board eligible/board certified Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians to join their team. This exclusive physician group is team-oriented, quality-focused, and industrious. This position has a clinical schedule of 7on/7off for patient care responsibilities. Our Daytime Hospitalists typically care a patient caseload of 18 patients. In addition to patient care responsibilities, the Associate Medical Director (AMD) provides upto 36 administrative hours per month. This individual serves as the medical leader for the campus physicians and APPs. The AMD will assume responsibility for tasks such as recruitment, scheduling, supervision, attend meetings, and the seamless coordination of care among both physicians and APPs, all aligned with the overarching mission and vision shared by Lee Health and the LPG Hospitalist group. The AMD will work in collaboration with all site AMDs, the department operational leaders, and senior leaders of the division.
