Are you interested in working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with a highly trained, multidisciplinary rehab team, consisting of rehabilitation nurses, therapists, care managers, psychologists, peer counselors, and other professionals?

Our team has a coordinated approach to maximize independence, reintegrate into the community and increase the overall sense of well-being in collaboration with patients and their families. The Rehabilitation Hospital takes into account all of the physical and cognitive changes to create an individualized program that optimizes patient recovery and caregiver training from neurological and orthopedic injuries. Conveniently located inside Lee Memorial Hospital, the Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to rebuilding lives and renewing hope.

The Physical Therapist (PT) position is responsible for examining, evaluating and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The PT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, as well as, the promotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The PT is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The PT is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner.
