General Position Description: The Production Supervisor is responsible to lead, facilitate, train and mentor the team and individuals. The Production Supervisor ensures that quality products are produced safely, on time, and efficiently. The Production Supervisor is responsible to develop, train, and foster positive working relationships with team members and engage their teams to focus on continuous improvement. Principal Duties:

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise 10-30 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including exhibiting core value behavior. Responsibilities include hiring and training employees; assigning work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the production floor the noise level may be loud. Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required.
