UNIVERSITY of MISSOURI-KANSAS CITY SCHOOL of Dentistry Department/Division/Program The UMKC School of Dentistry operates a public student dental clinic and a faculty practice which serve patients throughout the KC metropolitan area. We provide a critical education outlet for Kansas and several other states without a dental school. UMKC is the only institution in Missouri offering advanced education residency programs in General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and Endodontics. Job Description
The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry is seeking 2 Prosthodontist faculty members to fill a position in the Restorative Clinical Sciences department at the rank of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor. The faculty member will provide clinical instruction and oversight for pre-doctoral dental students. This includes instruction and evaluation of students in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, removable, fixed, and implant prosthodontics. The faculty member is expected to provide didactic and preclinical lab instruction, as assigned. Qualified candidates may be eligible to participate in faculty practice one day per week. Qualifications
* A DDS/DMD or equivalent and a certificate from a CODA accredited university/program. * Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics is required. * Eligibility for Missouri licensure is also required. Anticipated Hiring Range
