Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in southcentral Wisconsin and northern Illinois, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rockford, Illinois. This is a unique opportunity to work within a new and growing GI program! Opportunity:

• Join a newly created, busy Gastroenterology practice and collaborate with 4 experienced GI Physicians and two Nurse Practitioners
• Practice will be located at both our Javon Bea Riverside Hospital and our Javon Bea Rockton Avenue Hospital.
• Enjoy a level of independence and collaboration within the support of a fast-growing health system
• System-wide EPIC electronic health record

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure and ability to pass credentialing process
• Gastroenterology, or Med Surg NP or PA, or nursing experience preferred
• 1 year of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred
