Job Description Basic Function:Manage and coordinate all activities related to the maintenance of plant infrastructure, building, support equipment, projects and environmental issues. Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Assist plant controller with preparing capital projects (CEAV). Manage contractor program to ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed. Manage the MRO program through the purchasing department and ensure that the plant is following the Amcor purchasing policy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline and seven to ten years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required. Additional technical and/or leadership experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Prior experience with plastic manufacturing technology is strongly preferred. Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communications skills required. Ability to write effective reports is required. Incumbent must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills and be able to effectively communicate across various levels of the organization. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in plastic equipment maintenance strongly preferred. Incumbent must have the ability to read, write and interpret technical diagrams and procedures. Strong mathematical skills required. High degree of organizational skills required. Reason: Strong troubleshooting skills required. Incumbent must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Level of Authority: Right to hold for inspection, any product which the individual feels does not meet customer/company specifications.
