Location: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite (Herndon, VA)
Salary: $200K/Yearly

Job Summary: KeyLogic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Expert with a strong background in business development and growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our cybersecurity posture while driving strategic growth initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:



  1. Cyber Security Expertise:




    • Lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
    • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
    • Develop, articulate, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
    • Stay abreast of current and forward-leaning cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance our security posture.
    • Respond to security incidents, manage investigations, and provide detailed reports and recommendations to KeyLogic senior leadership and applicable customers and stakeholders.




  1. Business Development:




    • Identify, evaluate,and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth and expand our client base.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling cybersecurity solutions and service offerings.
    • Participate in industry events, including presenting at conferences, and forums to promote KeyLogic cybersecurity services brand and expand our network.
    • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve business development targets, and to expand KeyLogic's cybersecurity portfolio.




  1. Leadership and Collaboration:




    • Mentor and guide junior cybersecurity team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into broader business strategies.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • US Citizenship Required
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis, risk management, and incident response.
  • Experience with developing Zero Trust architectures
  • A clear understanding of how generative AI tools can be used both offensively and defensively in cybersecurity
  • Proven track record in business development, with experience in identifying and securing new cybersecurity business opportunities.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
