Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Learn and gain exposure to global packaging manufacturing industry

  • Participate as a multidisciplinary member of various cross functional teams

  • Take leadership over at least one critical project

  • Assess and identify improvement opportunities in an analytical way

  • Assist with the standardization of key process related to procurement

  • Work with other functional teams such as IT and operations.

  • Will interface with external customers and suppliers to collect data and implement standardization.

  • Challenge the status quo to improve and / or design new processes

  • Analyze and size both quantitative and qualitative impact of proposed improvement

  • Facilitate the integration with existing Amcor technology platforms and any new designed analytical tools

What We Require:

  • Actively enrolled in Sophomore year in a Bachelors Program in a business field of study such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Project Management.

  • Previous internship experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and interest in process improvement

  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills

  • Working knowledge of computer application software (training will be provided if needed)

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in teams

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficiency in modern desktop office software applications. Exposure to SAP and PowerBI is a plus.
