Job Summary



This financial analyst role reports directly to the North America FP&A Manager within the ARO business as part of Precision Technologies. This role is responsible for supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis for ARO, with an emphasis on commercial support. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong finance and data fundamentals, along with good communication, problem solving skills, and a bias for action.


Responsibilities


  • Support ARO leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and adhere to the finance calendar, including preparation for the Annual Plan, Quarterly Forecast, and Monthly Results.


  • Develop templates and communication strategies to enhance forecasting, planning, and analysis effectiveness.


  • Engage in monthly close activities to ensure high-quality reporting and assist in reconciling transactional data for mid-month performance insights.


  • Consolidate and analyze financial data to align with ARO's objectives and financial health, while managing reporting software to maintain data integrity.


  • Advance Finance ARO's digital transformation by leveraging tools like Qlik and KNIME for data analysis and reporting.


  • Prepare comprehensive sales performance reports and collaborate with commercial teams to create reporting and visualizations that provide actionable insights.


  • Drive process improvements and policy development to optimize finance, sales excellence, and reporting functions.


  • Establish and update standard work documentation to maintain consistency and clarity in finance operations.


  • Foster cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance organizational performance and support strategic decision-making.


  • Utilize centralized reporting platforms such as Snowflake and Qlik to gather and analyze data daily, ensuring robust and insightful analytics.





Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, MBA a plus.

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a financial analyst.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with ARO leadership.

  • Team player comfortable with evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong desire to learn systems and software to develop stronger acumen.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Python, Alteryx or similar software is a plus.

  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, MFG Pro, QAD or similar ERP systems a plus.

  • The position may reside in the United States, major countries of Latin America or Europe, with preference to locations like Sao Paulo, Brazil; Davidson, North Carolina, Brno, Czech, Dublin, Ireland.
