About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports and works closely with Loan Processors while interfacing with Wenatchee Loan Officers, Branch Manager, and Personal Bankers. They will assistance in the initial set up of Customer Information Profiles for lending customers and will coordinate account openings with Personal Bankers. The incumbent will assist with answering lending customer account questions, processing of loan payments and advances, and assists with the organization and review of electronic loan files. Assures quality customer service by providing friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers and outside associates.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITES AND DUTIES:
  • Assures quality customer service and portrays a positive and professional image for the Bank by friendly and efficient handling of all customer requests and by developing and maintaining professional relationships with outside associates.
  • Assists in the gathering of initial documentation to open Customer Information Files (CIF) and opens the CIF in Jack Henry. Works closely with Personal Bankers for the opening of deposit accounts associated with lending customers.
  • Assist Loan Processors in the review and gathering of OFAC data as directed.
  • Review and post all loan payments and proceed checks. Interact with Wenatchee branch loan processor and loan customers that come into the loan center directly.
  • Review Remote Deposit Report daily for proceed checks.
  • Submits advance requests to Loan Servicing as directed.
  • Occasionally request boarding of loan documents as directed by Branch and Loan Center Loan Processors by following the required procedures.
  • Occasionally assist Loan Processors in perfecting of collateral as directed.
  • Create and maintain electronic loan files in a timely manner by sending loan documents for and credit file documentation for indexing.
  • Ensures mail is delivered to post office if needed and makes deliveries to and from Wenatchee Branch and Loan Center in a timely manner.
  • Assist in Collateral Tracking as directed by Loan Processors.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with Loan Center Operations, such as coordinating schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage during business hours, answering phones, greeting customers, and other responsibilities and duties by delegation of Loan Processor Supervisor and Loan Servicing Supervisor.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION:

  • This position has been established to provide accurate and timely work involving the processing loan payment and assisting loan processor in responsibilities in which policies and established processed are to be adhered to consistently. This position requires the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Incumbent must have the ability to work under short time frames and deadlines and during high volume peak periods, which could require the need to work overtime as necessary. Incumbent must be able to work independently and be self-directed. Incumbent must have the ability to work well with others and take direction from multiple loan processors.
  • Incumbent will be attentive to customers' and loan processing needs.
  • Incumbent must be able to travel too and from the Wenatchee Branch and Wenatchee Loan Center.
  • Incumbent must have the ability and willingness to cross-sell all Bank products in a professional manner.
  • Incumbent must have the ability to use sound business judgment involving customer inquires, loan advances and receipts, problems, or complaints through appropriate action and/or referral to a supervisor.

POSITION CONTACT:

  • Regular contact with Loan Processor and Loan Servicing Supervisor regarding daily flow of work.
  • Occasional contact with Insurance Agents, Title Company personnel, and customers to provide answers to inquiries and other outside associates.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years experience in banking, finance, accounting, or lending environment preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong typing, word processing, and 10-Key skills.
  • Accuracy with financial calculations is essential.
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, accurate, efficient, and able to multi-task in a customer-oriented environment.
  • Strong time management skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office setting. Frequent sitting, occasional standing, twisting, bending and lifting (up to 35 lbs).

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
