Job Description
Performs skilled technical work in one or more of the following areas: Non-Invasive Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter Monitor and/or ECG labs and Cardiology clinic. Applies and scans Holter monitors, performs and processes adult and pediatric, ECGs, and assists in stress and nuclear cardiac testing. Work is performed in accordance with established procedures under the direction of a technical supervisor. All procedures performed are reviewed and reported by a staff physician. This position will rotate between clinical responsibilities and may affect shift times. Minimum Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years cardiovascular experience required, performing one or more of the above described procedures.
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must have considerable knowledge of and proficiency in: applying the principles, practices and techniques of asepsis, human anatomy and physiology, in relation to the cardiovascular system, ECG rhythm interpretation.
  • Good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Required to work with patients and interact with physicians.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds to assist and position patients safely.
