Job Description

Responsibilities may include: Coordinate the work activities of crew members to include planning and overseeing complex kitting and fulfillment projects. Operate offline and auxiliary finishing/packaging equipment. Set up and adjust machine and equipment for production runs. Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation. May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed. May provide training for new team members.

  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and attention to detail. Ability to anticipate problems and develop creative solutions. Ability to develop new techniques for handling work.
  • Good communication skills, public speaking and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with automated packaging equipment, shrink-wrap lines or similar equipment. Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment. Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs with or without an accommodation
  • Ability to operate hand jacks
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours).
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions based on job ticket information.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate work of regular and temporary handworker employees assigned to production line
  • Ability to move and process component materials and finished product as needed
  • Ability to inspect product for quality
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills
  • Ability to adhere to all provisions of QMS and safety procedures
  • Ability to keep production floor organized and safe.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
