The CORE Program is a 12 - 18-month developmental program that provides cross-functional, hands-on exposure in the field to deliver a holistic view of CMC's business. Note, this is not a desk job! You'll spend time rotating through various areas such as the Scrap Yard, Melt Shop, and more! You'll also receive enhanced training and development to prepare you for future leadership opportunities.

What You'll Do
  • Rotate through the functional areas within one of our lines of business (Recycling, Mills, Fabrication)
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Train on and Safely operate mechanical equipment as required
  • Participate in various developmental trainings and business projects
  • Attend Sales meetings, trainings, and activities as required
  • Complete and present a capstone project at the conclusion of program
What You'll Need
  • Ability to work under the guidelines of CMC's core values and safety standards
  • Ability to work in the elements (hot, cold, wet, etc) as needed
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to work within all levels of the organization (shop floor to upper management)
  • Strong customer service skills
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Engineering Degree preferred
