Salary Grade: T26 Learn more about the "T" salary structure here: https://careers.temple.edu/sites/careers/files/documents/T_Salary_Structure.pdf Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Research Administration will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration for the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD). The incumbent will primarily take the lead, handle the day-to-day pre, and post award operations related to a portfolio of sponsored research. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring external funded grants and contracts involving all pre-award activities, including compliance with granting agencies and university policies. Serve as the primary liaison to faculty on the pre-award process, and related policies and procedures, developing budgets for pre-award submissions, maintaining the College grant databases, providing ad-hoc and regular post award financial reports and projections to faculty and administrators, and other grant management duties as assigned. The position requires a strong customer services orientation and the incumbent must possess the ability to interpret and apply University, College and sponsor policies and procedures. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree and at least four or more years of directly related administrative and grant management experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. Required Background Checks & Clearances:
