ACT Team Lead

$80,000 per year

Elwyn is seeking a dedicated and experienced ACT Team Lead to join our growing team. In this critical role, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to providing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services to individuals in need. You'll be responsible for ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to the highest standards of care while championing Elwyn's mission of empowering individuals to reach their full potential.


$80,000 per year

$5000 sign on bonus eligible

As the ACT Team Lead, you will:



  • Lead and Motivate: You'll be the heart and soul of your team. You'll provide one-on-one supervision, coaching, and mentorship to staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. You'll be responsible for performance management, conducting regular staff meetings, and developing a strong, committed team that thrives on achieving positive outcomes.
  • Strategic Visionary: You'll be a key player in implementing Elwyn's vision and strategic initiatives within your region. You'll collaborate with the Regional Director on budget development and monitoring, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support your team's success.
  • Champion of Quality: You'll be responsible for ensuring your program adheres to all agency standards, including CBSF, CARF, and PRISM. You'll conduct regular audits and implement quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest level of care for your clients.
  • Community Partnership: You'll serve as Elwyn's local representative with funding sources, ensuring grant requirements are met and fostering strong relationships with community partners. You'll also support the development and participation in regional/program advisory committees to ensure valuable community input is integrated into your program's services.
  • Effective Communicator: You'll bridge communication between your team, other programs, and administrative departments, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned. You'll also serve as a role model for your staff, upholding Elwyn's core values and professional ethics.



To be successful in this role, you'll need:



  • A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or clinical psychology.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health, with a strong focus on either inpatient or community treatment settings.
  • A minimum of two years providing direct supervision to a team of three or more staff members.
  • Massachusetts state clinical licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC).
  • A solid grasp of clinical work, coupled with exceptional emotional intelligence and strong organizational skills to effectively lead and motivate a team of highly skilled professionals.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for regular regional travel, including travel in inclement weather conditions.
  • The ability to respond calmly and effectively to crisis situations, with on-call availability as needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to diverse audiences.
