University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children 's Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a PEM physician to join the faculty of our well-established Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Located on the large academic campus of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Rainbow Babies & Children 's Hospital is a nationally-ranked, not-for-profit tertiary children 's hospital that is home to Cleveland 's only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and our 18-bed Center for Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The Division also provides pediatric emergency care at UH-St. John Westshore Hospital in the western suburbs of Cleveland, with plans to expand our services to UH Ahuja Medical Center in Cleveland 's eastern suburbs in 2024.

Our collegial group currently includes 19 pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) faculty who have a passion for delivering outstanding clinical care, teaching, and advancing careers in a variety of areas including prehospital care, disaster preparedness, medical education, quality improvement, pediatric trauma care, administration, point-of-care ultrasound, simulation, community PEM practice, and global health. Our division's work is also supported by physician team members who are trained/certified in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Rainbow Babies & Children 's is home to a well-established PEM fellowship program that matches 2 fellows per year. In addition to providing direct clinical care, faculty participate in the supervision and training of medical students, residents (pediatrics, emergency medicine, and family medicine), and PEM fellows. Faculty hold academic appointments at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. The division boasts over $70 million dollars in federal grant funding
