Registered Nurse - Wound Care

A Brief Overview

WOCN certification HIGHLY PREFERRED or goal to obtain certification within 2 years of hire. The position will cover primarily inpatient ostomy patients as well as the outpatient ostomy clinic 1-2 days per week. This person would also help with wound coverage for Ahuja inpatients as well. The hours for this position are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
