About the team: Revenue Assurance maximizes the realization of revenue we are due from our customers. The team implements and manages control frameworks and governance over strategic change and our processes to reduce financial risk. Project-like in nature, our team investigates and understands issues, improving the tracking and realization of our financial flows. Our focus is partnering key stakeholders to drive root cause resolution and proactive measures to improve the customer experience and ensure we get it 'right first time' for our merchants. Through process analysis, re-engineering and understanding of technical problems the team deliver solutions to current and future business needs. We instill a culture of continuous improvement across everything we do, providing checks and balances to support the pace of change at Worldpay and enable us to grow.

What you'll own: As a Revenue Assurance Analyst, you will govern the delivery of strategic change and ensure our control frameworks are optimized to mitigate financial risk and protect our customer's experience. You will work closely with teams in Global Financial Operations and other internal stakeholders like Relationship Managers, Operations and Finance to triage, investigate and rectify merchant impacting issues. You will take ownership of working closely with our Analytics colleagues to review and analyze data sets to quantify and establish the root cause of revenue leakage and provide insights easily understandable by a non-technical audience. You will coordinate tracking and communication of related issues, quantifying the financial impacts and working with the LOB to address them at a root cause level. This is a highly visible role and critical to its success is the ability to partner with a variety of senior stakeholders, technical and operational teams to provide data driven insights, understand key business drivers and risks and implement solutions to get the right outcome for Worldpay and our customers.

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Finance Operations role, ideally in payments, or in Billing/Revenue Assurance roles within high-volume transactional environments such as Telecommunications, Financial Services, Banks, Credit Card Companies, or Utilities.
  • Demonstrable experience of business partnering stakeholders and leading virtual teams to deliver change, process, issue resolution and financial improvement initiatives.
  • Solid change management experience: the ability to influence, gain acceptance for and govern change effectively. Proven experience in the design and delivery of assurance control frameworks that keep pace with business change and emerging risks and a clear understanding of financial principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills that enable you to use data to tell a story and bring key insights to life for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills and the ability to lead specification, delivery, and operational running of data-driven controls.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong delivery skills: the ability to plan and track initiatives effectively and identify and mitigate risks to successful outcomes.
  • You are a focused and proactive self-starter, comfortable with autonomy.
  • Demonstrated tangible achievements, such as financial improvements delivered through specific initiatives.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in an assurance, revenue or billing function in Financial Services or a high-volume transactional environment.
  • Previous experience in payments/fintech is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in using data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
