Job Summary

A Product Engineering Co-Op will be working with core team members of the product/test engineering team to bring Skyworks products into high volume manufacturing. You will be working closely with engineers across multiple functional teams. This position includes responsibility for both development and sustaining activities for:



  • Analyzing ATE test data, generating data summary reports, and helping to summarize/draw conclusions from the data set.
  • Working on customer returns and support bysubmitting test requests, reviewing the data, and following through with the next stage of analysis.
  • Helping with product qualification activities and reliability data analysis.The PE Intern could interface with IC design and module design teams to help deep dive on the data to understand the root cause and/or behavior of the product.
  • Scripting process steps for supporting data automation.

Job Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Mastersprogram, studying Electrical Engineering or related subject.
  • Strong data analysis skills and should be able to navigate Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Having programming and Python experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
