We're looking for a senior AP Manager to join our ever-evolving Finance team to support a newly established team within Finance. The role will be responsible for building out in depth analysis, assessing financial performance, and establishing a robust framework to communicate our growth to investors and lenders.

What you'll own

The Accounts Payable Sr Manager will be a key leadership position within the Worldpay Corporate Accounting organization. The position will initially be involved in the following:

Stand up a global accounts payable and corporate credit card team including:

  • Design and define requirements for Oracle implementation including being part of the project team through go live.
  • Select corporate credit program and expense tool and plan and execute roll out
  • Build and lead team for Accounts Payable, Credit Card Administration, Expense management and Vendor setup and maintenance.
  • Define processes to provide best in class customer service for both our internal and external customers.
  • Assist in month end close process and produce KPI and performance metrics.
  • Develop department strategy and objectives aligned with company objectives to being customer centric and how to achieve exceptional customer service to internal and external customer.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations for Accounts Payable, Credit Card and Employee Expense reporting and Vendor Management.
  • Continuous operational improvements for Procure-to-Pay process, partnering with Procurement, IT and the business to solve common pain points.
  • Problem solving and instilling a no repeat mistake mentality - learn from mistakes and implement process changes and training to prevent the mistake from happening again.
  • Cooperate with Procurement on identifying where PO's are not created causing payment delays.
  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching on specific tasks as well as individual professional development to staff.
  • Participate in and lead Finance and Financial Operations led initiatives.
  • Provide monthly KPI reporting on how the department is performing and identify ways to improve.

What you bring

The Sr Manager of Accounts Payable provides a unique opportunity to help design the ERP system and process for the Accounts Payable function, roll out a new corporate card program , implement a new expense tool and transition work from one team to a newly formed team. The role will spend time working through the above activities and then will be responsible of leading the team that they help form. The role will work closely with 3rd party consultants and other cross functional leaders to ensure that processes are developed to be best in class.

  • 10 + years of experience in a global Accounts Payable team.
  • Experience with leading a global Accounts Payable team including corporate card program and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of an ERP system, preferably Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay process.
  • Great communication skills and customer centric disposition that is able to diffuse contentious situations with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Skilled in analytical and statistical research and providing analysis and commentary on monthly analytic files.
  • Experience with the accounting close cycle and how the Procure-to-pay process impacts the financial statements.
  • Internal/external audit experience.
