  • RFIC/PA design experience using GaAs HBT, SiGe BiCMOS, GaN, or CMOS
  • Experience with IC layout tools and layout planning
  • In-depth knowledge of on-chip ESD protection strategies
  • Expertise in Keysight ADS, Cadence, and associated simulation engines
  • Familiar with 2.5D (EMX, Momentum, Sonnet) and 3-D (HFSS, FEM) EM design simulation tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of laminate, wire bonding, WLCSP techniques, SMT components and multi-die FEM considerations.
  • Experiences with thermal design consideration for RF front-end modules
  • Strong lab skills for characterization, optimization, and debugging.
  • Ability to execute project tasks with minimal supervision

  • Perform feasibility analysis/simulation for new product development.
  • Lead and collaborate die-level floor planning.
  • Design/simulate fully integrated power amplifier ICs, considering package effects.
  • Lead and collaborate with other team members to characterize, optimize, debug, and backfit the designs.
  • Manage design trade-offs on performance, risk, yield, testability, and cost.
  • Support hardware validations and analyze measurement data for performance enhancements.
  • Develop and present design review and technical presentations to the technical community and product development teams.
