Inventory Coordinator

The Inventory Coordinator/Material Handler is responsible for accurately pulling, packing, and preparing customer orders and maintaining warehouse inventory. Also, is responsible of receiving parts, locating then in the corresponding locations, and keeping the best organization and safe warehouse environment.

How you will do it:

  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly material handling tasks such as:

  • Ordering parts for customer jobs.

  • Receiving parts physically and in inventory system (Oracle).

  • Dispatching materials to technicians and Issuing equipment to jobs.

  • Requesting RMAs and returning parts to vendors.

  • Check all orders to ensure accuracy.

  • Staging parts in the correct warehouse locations.

  • Pull and pack materials.

  • Communicate with freight carriers regarding daily bills of lading.

  • Prepare of shipping documents as necessary.

  • Perform general warehouse duties including housekeeping, stocking, safety and maintenance.

  • Follow up with vendors and procurement on parts status and ETA.

  • Update Installation Portal with the part status.

  • Look for parts availability in other branches to meet customer expectations.

  • Conduct special projects as physical inventories, cycle counts, and rightsizing, among others.

  • Review supply chain reports and complete the necessary transactions to keep inventory accuracy.

  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

  • Keep safety practices in the warehouse, wear 100% PPE, and ensure zero harm.

What we look for:

  • 2-3 years minimum experience in the supply chain field and material handling.

  • Must have experience with inventory management software, preferably Oracle.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

  • The preferred candidate will also have 2 years receiving experience in a warehouse environment.

  • The individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

  • Must possess organizational skills and be computer literate. A low level of confidentiality is required.

  • Flexible workweek, hours may vary. Extended hours may be required based on business needs. Travel may be required while attending business meeting, and meetings with outside agencies, vendors, clients and personnel. General work done in a warehouse environment where exposure to heat, cold, and hazardous materials may occur.

  • Physical Demands: The physical demands listed are essential in order for the employee of this position to successfully perform this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employee must be physically fit as it relates to normal warehouse functions. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required. Grasping, lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting are involved. Extended periods of standing and/or sitting are frequently required. The employee is required to use always PPE including steel toe shoes. The employee must have constant free mobility of hands, wrists and arms in order to operate computer/keyboard and other equipment. In addition, the individual should be computer literate and able to visually distinguish colors.
