About the role:

As the Manager of IT GRC, you'll work on the cutting edge of technology with the largest FinTech company in the world. While using your advanced governance, risk, and compliance skills to protect Worldpay from threats, you will partner with business leaders to identify risks, evaluate the effectiveness of controls, and promote continuous improvement.

About the team:

The IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that Worldpay can demonstrate compliance with industry standards and regulatory obligations in the use of technology to meet business objectives, including performing, tracking, and reporting on the effectiveness of controls, compliance activities, and risk assessments.

What you will be doing:

You will lead IT governance, risk, and compliance activities to ensure that Worldpay can demonstrate that its control environment is aligned with audit, risk, industry, and regulatory requirements. Work with business leaders to position Worldpay products, services, and support functions for consistent and continuous compliance with IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory requirements. Provide hands-on leadership and direct oversight to internal and 3rd party assessments.

* Provide subject matter expertise on industry-recognized IT control frameworks, such as COBIT, NIST, ISO, and similar standards.

* Provide expert-level guidance on implementation, monitoring, and evidence collection to demonstrate alignment with industry-recognized IT control frameworks.

* Establish mechanism to plan, schedule, track, monitor, and manage issues related to audit, compliance, and risk assessments of the IT control framework.

* Monitor and communicate changes to IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory requirements that impact Worldpay products, services, and business activities.

* Respond to issues and matters pertaining to IT governance, risk, and compliance for Worldpay products, services, and business activities.

* Establish operational objectives and work plans.

* Provide guidance on company policies that affect the IT control environment.

* Oversee development and implementation of IT governance, risk, and compliance program policies and procedures.

* Perform periodic reviews and evaluations of Worldpay IT governance, risk, and compliance program to validate that the program adequately aligns with IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory reporting and evidence requirements.

* Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the lines of business on interpretation of IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory requirements, reporting requirements, and evidence requirements to ensure successful completion of internal and third-party assessments.

* Ensure strategic objectives of the Compliance & Ethics Program are met in the context of IT governance, risk, and compliance, including execution of program assessment activities, coordination of response and tracking of action items for remediation.

* Design and deploy processes to validate that Worldpay products, services and business activities are prepared for IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory assessments.

* Contribute to training materials for other business areas to promote IT governance, risk, and compliance awareness.

* Develop and motivate staff.

* Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

* Negotiate with internal and third-party assessors to promote understanding and acceptance of Worldpay strategy on IT governance, risk, and compliance, including requirements for attestation and evidence.

* Meet with business unit Compliance Officers and Product Owners to provide guidance on IT governance, risk, and compliance issues.

* Monitors line of business compliance activities to verify that IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory deadlines and requirements are met.

* Identify areas of potential improvement.

* Provide updates for periodic reports.

* Assist the business with responses to customer IT audit, risk, industry, and regulatory questions and concerns.

* Prepare Worldpay staff for planned IT governance, risk, and compliance assessment activities.

What you will need:

* Extensive experience implementing, documenting, tracking, and maintaining technology control frameworks.

* Experience performing compliance assessments, information security, risk management, and/or technology risk management.

* Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Industry certifications are highly preferred.
