We're looking for a Configuration Analyst II to join our ever-evolving Service Asset and Configuration Management team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team

The SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) and SPM (Service Portfolio Management) teams are globally accountable for ensuring accuracy about business services and their underlying service assets. This includes CMDB Management, Software & Hardware Asset Management, and Service Portfolio Management. You will be part of a small team providing Service Asset Management globally for all Worldpay service assets.

What you'll own

The CMDB Configuration Analyst 2 is responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). They will ensure the accuracy and completeness of configuration items, supporting effective service asset management.

  • Maintain and update CMDB records for hardware, software, and services.

  • Analyze and reconcile CMDB data for accuracy and consistency.

  • Assist with CMDB user access and permissions.

  • Handle incoming requests for the CMDB.

  • Create complex reports on CMDB configuration items.

  • Support the CMDB Configuration Manager with ongoing CMDB improvement initiatives.

  • Perform detailed CMDB analyses and troubleshoots configuration data discrepancies.

  • Monitor CMDB Health dashboards and report on discrepancies.

  • Support the CMDB Configuration Manager with ongoing CMDB improvement initiatives.

  • Maintains data integrity and adherence to CMDB standards.

Where you'll own it

While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in CMDB administration and configuration management.

  • 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow.

  • Working knowledge of IT configuration management principles and CMDB best practices.

  • Understanding of how to use ITSM methodologies, eg: ITIL and Agile.

  • Understanding of CMDB concepts and configuration management principles.

  • Hands-on experience with CMDB tools and technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Advanced familiarity with computers and technology.

Added bonus if you have

  • Extra experience with ServiceNow, specifically the asset and CMDB spaces.

  • Experience with databases and table structures.

  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification.
