Your Job The HR capability within Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Human Resource Associate (HRA) to join our teams this upcoming Spring or Summer 2025 in Brewton, AL and Brunswick, GA.

Our Team

This is an onsite role and will require that you live in the local area of Brewton, AL or Brunswick, GA. Ideally, this will be the first position of many exciting opportunities for you to grow within Georgia-Pacific!

What You Will Do

  • Assist in hiring and onboarding of new employees.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to leaders in functional areas including, but not limited to talent management, compensation, compliance, performance management, and career development.
  • Serve as a contact for employees; respond to questions regarding HR related topics including but not limited to the Infor myHR system, personnel information, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coach leaders in proper application of the PBM compensation philosophy and practices.
  • Provide research, analysis, and data to assist in effective decision making.
  • Bring forth new and innovative ideas to improve or resolve HR processes or issues.
  • Stay connected with the needs of the people by being visible and regularly interacting with all personnel.
  • Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Interest in HR
  • Open to working in a manufacturing environment
  • Associates degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2025.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
