Your Job

Georgia-Pacific (GP) Building Products is seeking an Insights Intern for Summer 2025. This hybrid role will be based at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. As an intern, you will support our Insights team in driving primary research with a wide range of customers as well as employees to provide inspiring and actionable insights. These insights will lead to the development of new products and services that create superior value for our customers. Advancing our research capabilities is critical in driving strategic business decisions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Koch Industries, the parent company of Georgia-Pacific, has been consistently selected as one of the top 100 Internship Programs in the U.S by WayUp. What You Will Do

Advance Market Research Capabilities:

  • Engage in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Lead one or more research projects from inception to completion, from project planning through stakeholder communication.
  • Support internal and external research needs (e.g., growth opportunities, market reviews).
  • Utilize artificial intelligence to conduct market research and competitive intelligence.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align capabilities and technologies with customer needs.
  • Provide support for ongoing projects, including understanding customer voice and unmet needs.
  • Prepare and present findings to internal stakeholders, focusing on value-added initiatives.

Project Scope and Design:

  • Work with stakeholders to define research questions and propose appropriate methods.
  • Develop research plans, including costs, timing, and sample selection.
  • Design research instruments such as surveys, questionnaires, and discussion guides.
  • Execute research instruments and analyze the data collected.
  • Create presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommend next steps.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Have a passion for customer research.
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2026.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
