Your Job

The Georgia-Pacific IT team is seeking business analyst, project management, and product owner interns to join our team, this upcoming Summer 2025 in Atlanta, GA. This will be a 12-week onsite internship opportunity that runs from late May to mid-August 2025.

What You Will Do

The GP IT Internship Program will consist of the below roles:

  • Business Analyst Intern
    • Analyze and diagnose business problems
    • Create and maintain system documentation
    • Conduct process improvement efforts

  • Data & Analytics Product Owner Intern
    • Conduct end-user research sessions to crowdsource improvement opportunities
    • Facilitate key stakeholder communications around your product
    • Collaborate with a delivery team on a backlog of potential enhancements
  • IT Project Manager Intern
    • Facilitate key project discussions and decisions
    • Analyze project documentation for potential improvement opportunities
    • Facilitate stakeholder communication and relationships

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Enrolled in a college degree program or alternative program. (e.g., 4-year university, 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2027.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2026.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to collect, document, and analyze business requirements
  • Ability to understand and develop business processes & process flows
  • Application development knowledge
  • Business acumen aptitude
  • Negotiation skills
  • Project management skills (planning and organizational skills)
