Our Small Business Product suite is focused on just that, enabling Small Businesses to focus on what they love, their business, by providing tools that enable them to seamlessly manage their cash flow, make payments and make important business decisions. As a key member of the Small Business Sr. Leadership team, you will partner closely with Commercial, Operational, and Technology to own and drive our Small Business product strategy. In this role, you will be accountable for creating an integrated product vision and strategy to drive high-value business outcomes by solving our customers' major pain points through product innovation and the commercialization of new products. You will manage a team of product managers that will manage, define, and deliver the products and customer experience for each of our Small Business products. A successful candidate in the next 12 - 18 months would deliver the following:
Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a bold vision for small business product offerings, with a focus on mobility and payments space, supported by rapid experimentation, external competitive assessment, and strategic partnerships and/ or acquisition to build confidence and traction, including the current small business portfolio, our new acquisition, and new product ideas. Market and Customer Research: Develop and execute a market and customer research strategy that incorporates market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer insights into the product strategy. Deliver Outcomes: Drive value for our customers and business through clear measurable outcomes that show meaningful progress against and momentum against our product strategy. Drive Commercial Mindset: In partnership with key players across WEX, develop and execute strong go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, marketing, and sales enablement to ensure successful product adoption and profitable revenue growth. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a team of product managers through clear prioritization, frequent coaching, and transparent feedback, creating a culture of inclusiveness, empowerment, results, and trust. Cross-functional Leadership: Build a strong network across WEX and collaborate with partners and peers to drive product success.

Experience you'll bring:
15+ years experience in product management, ideally with experience in launching new software products for small business 5-10 years of progressive product leadership experience. Strong leadership presence and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence across a broad set of stakeholders and executive leaders to drive strategic alignment Ability to set a bold vision for the reimagined experiences, and develop a strategy to execute and iteratively deliver on the vision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an extensive use of both quantitative and qualitative data, to drive prioritization and performance. Deep customer centricity, with a passion for understanding customer problems and rapidly experimenting to solve them. A proven track record of delivering on complex initiatives to drive high-value business outcomes through the commercialization of new products Strong leadership and communication, with a style that is collaborative, upbeat, inspirational and performance-driven. Strong coaching and mentorship with a track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams. Experience building scalable, shared capabilities. Demonstrated success in creating a vision to inspire, prioritizing key deliverables, defining and building roadmaps, and managing internal and external commitments.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
