This position is a REMOTE fulltime Exempt (salary) position supporting the National Security Training Solutions (NSTS) business line. The Business Operations Analyst assists the Senior Business Operations Manager of NSTS with the daily business management of the business line by interacting and engaging closely with program leaders and corporate stakeholders to ensure activities and initiatives align with strategic organizational objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Oversees the employee life cycle process within the business line including escalation of issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Develops and implements strategies to enhance employee motivation and performance and reduce conflicts including an Awards and Incentive program.
- Manages employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, and employee focus groups.
- Facilitates day-to-day business management through matrix reporting relationships with Shared Services to ensure effective and efficient business line execution.
- Assists with all elements of program business operations functions ensuring successful contract delivery and strategic alignment
- Evaluates operations procedures and processes; identifies areas for improvements and redesign
- Revises, and recommends business operations policies and procedures; creates and updates guides to standardize procedures, as necessary.
- Develops business plans and strategies to align with business line and enterprise objectives; analyzes data to evaluate performance to support decision making and improve operations
- Designs, develops and implements, standardizes, reporting tools
- Builds interactive dashboards

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in management, business administration or related field with 4-6 years' experience, preferred
- Experience in program operations including Human Resources (HR) administration, scheduling, and operations support. Experience working on Service Contract Act (SCA) covered contracts preferred
- Must be a strong team player with the ability to work independently and experienced working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix.
- Must possess strong organizational and time management skills to meet hard deadlines under pressure.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Costpoint experience preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills, with an agile mindset.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree in management, business administration or related field with 4-6 years' experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
