JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The laboratory of Professor Lasse Jensen in the Chemistry Department at the Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill a postdoctoral researcher position to develop and use electronic structure methods for describing surface-enhanced Raman scattering. The position requires a Ph.D. in the area of theoretical or computational chemistry as well as experience in electronic structure simulations and method development. Interested and qualified applicants must submit applications electronically to include a cover letter describing your background, prior training, and research interests, as well as a CV which includes a list of publications. Following a screening of these initial application materials, appropriate candidates will be contacted by email for letters of reference. This is a limited-term appointment funded for one-year from the date of hire with possibility of renewal. All applicants will be encouraged to apply for independent funding. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
