JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants for a post-doctoral scientist position focusing on cementitious materials are invited. Required qualifications are:
Responsibilities for the position include executing a USDOT project on developing an embedded sensor system (resistivity, humidity, temperature) to evaluate the quality and monitor the health of concrete. Additional responsibilities include leading the authorship of project reports and journal publications, contribution to other research projects, and assisting in preparation of future research proposals. The position provides opportunities to collaborate with industry and academic R&D teams, to mentor one or more graduate students, and to present the research outcomes at scientific conferences.
