We are currently recruiting to fill the following position: AbilityOne N/A Job Description JOB TITLE: Motor Vehicle Mechanic SCA OCCUP: 05190 Motor Vehicle Mechanic SALARY GRADE: Federal Wage Determination or Collective Bargaining Agreement FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt APPROVAL DATE: August 2014 POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Motor Vehicle Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors. May also be required to diagnose, repair, and maintain fractional-horsepower engines. This position requires well rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent. TYPICAL DUTIES:
*Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required.
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
CERTIFICATES REQUIRED: Valid driver's license required for this position at most work sites. The incumbent must maintain an acceptable driving record while in this position. TYPICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:
