JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Energy Science and Power Systems (ESPS) Division of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking aPower and Energy Systems Chemical Engineer/Chemist toperform basic and applied research in support of ARL's core mission of supporting our national security via design and development of undersea power and energy systems. The selected candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the analysis, design, development, and demonstration of advanced power systems for underwater and/or other unique applications (including combustion/thermal, electrochemical, and hybrid systems). This position can be filled by either a Research and Development Engineer or a non-tenure Research Faculty. You Will:
Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and experience. Minimally requires a Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Science discipline plus 5 years' related experience. A Masters degree or PhD is preferred. Required Skills
