JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The laboratory of Professor Squire J. Booker in the departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute seeks to fill a postdoctoral research position in the broad areas of enzymology, molecular biology, structural biology or chemical biology. The position will involve characterization of iron-sulfur-containing enzymes from eukaryotic organisms, including humans, and will require a Ph.D. in a relevant area of chemistry, biochemistry or life science. Candidates with expertise in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and/or mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, and mammalian cell culture are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is a limited term appointment for one year from the date of hire with the possibility of refunding.
