JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Penn State is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar. The successful candidate will work on semiconductor packaging, with a focus on integrating new materials, developing new processes, high frequency characterization, and reliability. The Postdoctoral Scholar will also mentor graduate students working in the area of semiconductor packaging.

A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is required by the start date. The successful candidate should have clean room experience, along with a background in semiconductor packaging. The Postdoctoral Scholar will be part of the JUMP 2.0 Center, namely the Center for Heterogeneous Integration of Micro Electronics Systems (CHIMES).
