Essential Functions

  1. Creating and maintaining of facility spreadsheets
  2. Prepares and maintains employee files
  3. Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files; performs paper and system audits as necessary
  4. Enters data into HRIS system ensuring the accuracy of information
  5. Processes new-hire, status change and termination paperwork
  6. Processes and administers leave of absence requests and disability paperwork
  7. Participates in recruitment and interview processes
  8. Performs other duties as assigned

Competencies

  1. 1 to 2 years of direct experience in HR field
  2. Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives
  3. Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  4. Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
  5. Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time 1st shift position. Schedule is Monday through Friday.

Travel

Local travel is expected for this position.

High school diploma or equivalent
