Position Summary:



Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) is looking for a dynamic, caring, organized, knowledgeable, and thoughtful English teacher to serve as an instructor for the 24-25 academic year.



Position Responsibilities:



The candidate will teach a variety of sections and grades. Our English classes place a significant emphasis on writing, and a successful instructor will be able to help our students push themselves and grow in this very important area.



Experience & Educational Background:



Teaching experience and Masters degree preferred.



Skills & Competencies:



The ideal candidate will first and foremost be passionate about student growth as well as the teaching of English in a high school setting and have a warm and engaging personality that can be used in developing meaningful relationships with each student. They will have mastery of educational pedagogy and a strong knowledge of literature, writing, and language arts curriculum, but will also be strongly motivated by continued opportunities to grow and develop as an effective educator. We are looking for an experienced teacher leader who is comfortable working with both students and colleagues and who is intentional about their educational approach.



Salary Range:



$65,000 - $75,000
