Position Summary The Welding Group Leader plans and performs a variety of welding, design, fabrication, and maintenance repairs using robotic and manual welding in the manufacturing of FN America components and products. The Welding Group Leader assists the Production Supervisor with mentoring, monitoring, training, and scheduling of Welders. Job Duties
Educational Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Experience Requirements Five years' experience in related welding applications with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required. Experience leading a team is preferred. Additional requirements of this position include:
Tools Microsoft Office, ERP, QAD and SAP software. Licenses/Certifications Certified Welding Inspector certification is required. Working Conditions Typical manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises and dangerous chemicals and machinery. Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds unassisted.
