Synonymous Business Title: Sales Operations Manager

What you'll do:

  • Execute the operational strategy, direction, and actions in the North America Retail vertical you support
  • Partner with the Retail Sales Leaders (VP+) in North America providing Sales Operations support as needed (ad hoc), as well as conduct activities and analysis as part of regular cadence.
  • Communicate effectively across the business operations ecosystem and sales segments to drive operational excellence on business initiatives
  • Translate global initiatives to the functional level and help drive alignment
  • Partner with sales management to drive territory planning, quota setting, business plan recommendation and execution
  • Lead projects for territory optimization and introduction of new sales programs.
  • Manage territory and quota process for headcount changes (new hires, terms, and transfers) and ensure quota coverage and governance
  • Drive weekly/monthly rhythm of the business through operational reviews of KPIs, leading Forecast/Pipeline meetings and coordinating updates on strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the forecast and reporting process for the NA Retail Vertical.
  • Prepare materials for and participate in quarterly business review with sales management team.
  • Build reports and dashboards to track key metrics and KPIs to increase performance visibility and analyze the health of the business.
  • Partner with sales leaders and Sales operations team on reporting and analytical requests: Quarterly management reporting, sales productivity and performance analysis, pipeline creation/coverage monitoring, quota attainment, competitive win/loss etc.
  • Identify critical trends and provide actionable business insights to leadership to drive go-to-market strategy
  • Gather, organize, and interpret data, then distil actionable insights from it to deliver back to the business to help inform, steer and course correct

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience at large, tech companies or related sales role.
  • Prior experience in sales operations, sales strategy, and analysis or equivalent function with significant exposure to sales teams is a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of SaaS and Software go-to-market models, sales support roles, business metrics and growth best practices
  • Strong grasp of sales process and sales funnel concepts
  • Ability to structure complex problems, derive insights from data, and articulate clearly with diverse teams up to the senior leadership level
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence varying org functions at varying levels of seniority throughout the org
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills - viewed as a trusted and reliable partner; treats Sales stakeholders as customers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches, and with multiple competing deadlines. Can adapt quickly to changes and possesses strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in CRM software (ideally Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Skilled in partnering with senior Sales leadership, prioritizing, and driving transformation
  • Bachelor's degree. MBA or Masters are a plus

The Salary Range for this position is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
