Sourcing Coordinator

The Sourcing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the sourcing and RFP/RFQ process for labor contractors within Uniti operations. This role involves sourcing new contractors, negotiating pricing agreements, managing relationships with existing contractors, and analyzing pricing trends to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency. The Sourcing Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive contractor database and providing regular reports and analytics to support decision-making.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Sourcing New Labor Contractors

    • Identify potential labor contractors through research, networking, and industry contacts.
    • Evaluate contractor capabilities, qualifications, and pricing to ensure alignment with company needs and standards.
    • Coordinate the solicitation and evaluation of bids or proposals from potential contractors.


  • Managing Existing Contractors

    • Maintain relationships with current contractors to ensure high levels of service and performance.
    • Address any issues or concerns raised by contractors in a timely and effective manner.
    • Negotiate contract renewals and amendments as necessary to meet changing business needs.




  • Negotiating Contractor Pricing

    • Conduct negotiations with contractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
    • Analyze pricing proposals and develop negotiation strategies to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
    • Document negotiated agreements and ensure compliance with contractual terms.


  • Building and Reviewing Pricing Trends and Analytics

    • Monitor pricing trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
    • Analyze pricing data and generate reports to track performance against budgetary targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for improving sourcing efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Building a Contractor Database

    • Establish and maintain a centralized database of labor contractors, including contact information, capabilities, and performance history.
    • Regularly update and validate contractor information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Develop processes and tools for efficiently managing contractor data and information.




  • Conducting Project Audits:

    • Plan and execute post project audits in accordance with established methodologies and standards
    • Review project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, to assess compliance with organizational policies and procedures
    • Conduct interviews with project stakeholders, including project managers, team members, etc. to gather insights and perspectives on project performance
    • Identify and document key lessons learned from completed projects, including successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement


  • Develop Software and Process Improvement:

    • Work with Systems and Process development team to continue development of Contractor Bid Portal
    • Support the development, design and delivery of contractor related programs and tools
    • Perform extensive research and analysis to design and develop strategies that will optimize daily interactions with internal operations and contractor support




Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with oracle software and systems is a plus.

  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
