Workover Rig Foreman

Position Summary The Workover Rig Foreman will manage staff and work schedules for workover rig activity. This role will maintain proper record keeping of service projects, inspection of work to ensure it meets specification, while ensuring adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.The position will report to the Senior Workover Foreman and will be based out of one of the North Dakota field offices in Williston, Watford City or New Town or Mandaree. Work schedule will consist of an 8 days on, 6 days off rotation. Wage and level commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions
  • Plan and oversee contract rig supervisors to ensure timely implementation of workover rig operations
  • Review field tickets and assist in developing processes to ensure proper payment
  • Evaluate service companies and work to develop best in class in vendors for the company
  • Assist in developing process that ensures that the Company is maintaining proper record keeping for emergency response
  • Foster a work environment where employee safety is a core goal and safety and environmental rules are integrated into all work activities
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure optimization of design and job parameters
  • Maintain proper record keeping of Workover Rig, and associated projects
  • Inspection of work to ensure it fits specification, enforcing adherence to all safety and environmental regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Support Production Field Operations
  • Responsible for accurate monthly accruals and coding/approving invoices
  • All other duties as assigned or based off business need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years workover operations experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence skills
  • Competent in navigating Microsoft Office products i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, etc
  • Demonstrated ability effectively using Stop Work Responsibility
  • Demonstrated knowledge of LOTO and hazardous energy isolation
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for Company motor vehicle insurance requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older for Company motor vehicle requirements
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
    • Able to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively
    • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job
    • The split of time spent between field and office will be approximately 80% field and 20% office.
    • Familiar with navigating and input into the Wellview system.
