Security Engineer

TechFlow Inc. is seeking an experiencedSecurity Engineerto join our team. As a Security Engineer at TechFlow, you will responsible for coordinating the requirements process for all programs and compliance. The ideal candidate will support our cross-functional team to provide life cycle support of the Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio, Cargo and Personnel Movement Product Line Family of Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical services and security validation to ensure all system components meet security accreditation standards

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks in a cloud environment
• Provide technical services and security validation to ensure all system components meet security accreditation standards
• Responsible for security testing and validations of all hardware and software that make up the components
• Ensures appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard cloud-based resources
• Ensures compliance of code security scans and compiles security threat reports
• Ensures a vulnerability prevention program is in place, and functional
• Monitors national vulnerability websites, monthly, for all products used as a component of Product Line's systems and reports findings to the lead engineer and/or ISSM
• Coordinate, implement, and maintain secure communications between systems for both the test and operational systems
• Validate and provide end-of-life/support dates/status, semi-annually, on all products used by applications

• High school diploma or GED

• Required years of experience as detailed below. General work experience may be substituted for education.

• Journeyman level: HS: 8+ years of experience, BS: 4+ years, or Master's with no experience
• Senior level: BS: 7+ years of experience, MS: 3+ years
• Experience with project-specific tools such as Jira, DevSecOps tools across all phases, Selenium, JMeter, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Microsoft Office Suite

• Experienced with appropriate task order approved tools such as: Jira, ACAS, Checkmarx, AppScan, AppDetectivePro, DevSecOps tools across all phases

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• DoD System Security Analyst Certification(s)
