What's Available:

  • 24 hours per week.

What do you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency or current student status
  • Servsafe Certification required within first 6 month (can be obtained while working)

Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Requisitions, organizing and preparing quality foods according to diet menu
  • Follows standardized recipes and accurately portions according to daily census and production sheets.
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards. Clean and sanitized equipment and work area as needed.
  • Monitoring, replenishes and records food usage.
  • Labels, dates and store food in a safe manner.
  • Maintains proper food temperature at prep and throughout service.
  • Operates and maintains a variety of standard kitchen equipment; reports faulty equipment as necessary.
  • Provides orientation training of employees as cooks.
  • Ensures compliance with state, local and regulatory agencies as it relates to food.
  • Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Learning:

REQUIRED

High School Diploma or equivalency or current student status

Work Experience:

REQUIRED

No experience required.

License and Certifications:

REQUIRED

Servsafe Certification (SERVSAFE) within first 6 months of hire
